Soon after graduation from PHS, I moved to Dallas/Fort Worth. After community college I entered law enforcement. At the age of 22 I went to work for the Dallas Police Department. I like to say that I "survived" 42 years of police work in Dallas. At the time of my retirement I was Chief of the Dallas Marshal's Office.
Undoubtedly, my best action was to convince Cindy (my wife of 46 years) to marry me. We have two amazing sons, Brent a great dentist and current dentist of the year in Keller and Jason a science teacher and current teacher of the year at Keller ISD. We also have two wonderful grandchildren. Allison is a senior at UNT and will be leaving this month to study in China. Garrett is a freshman at University of Arkansas.
Clearly, I have been blessed and I thank God for those blessings. PHS definitely provided me with a solid educational and moral foundation for my career and life. In particular, Mr. McDonald was my principal from elementary through PHS and often provided valuable guidance.
Greetings and blessings to all my MOJO brothers and sisters.
